Education Programs

Освітній напрямок

For children who have experienced loss, education is about more than acquiring knowledge. It is an opportunity to gradually regain a sense of stability, build confidence in their abilities, and restore hope for the future.

That is why the Soborna Ukraine Foundation's Education Program combines learning with a trauma-informed approach. We create an environment where children can not only catch up on missed learning, but also rebuild their confidence through personal growth, new achievements, and a renewed sense of their own potential.

Soborna Ukraine Foundation's Proprietary Learning Framework

Engaging Learning Methodology

The Engaging Learning Methodology is Soborna Ukraine Foundation's proprietary learning framework, developed collaboratively by educators and psychologists for today's Ukrainian schools. It brings together high-quality education, trauma-informed teaching, and meaningful student engagement. The methodology provides teachers with a comprehensive set of ready-to-use resources, including: ● lesson plans and structured lesson outlines; ● curriculum materials for a range of subjects; ●interactive activities and real-life case studies; ● tools for collaborative learning and classroom discussions; ● elements of gamification and inquiry-based learning; ● strategies for teaching students with different levels of academic preparedness; ● guidance on creating psychologically safe learning environments. Each lesson follows a clear structure that helps sustain students' attention, maintain their motivation, and encourage active participation. Ready-to-use teaching materials also significantly reduce lesson preparation time and help lower the risk of teacher burnout.

Together, these approaches create a learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their ideas, and making mistakes. The methodology promotes critical thinking, communication skills, independence, and a genuine interest in learning. Today, more than 300 children are learning through the Engaging Learning Methodology. The results demonstrate not only strong academic outcomes, but also higher levels of student engagement, improved communication and social interaction, reduced fear of making mistakes, and greater motivation to learn.
