Soborna Ukraine Foundation Families Take Part in the “Conversations About Memory”

June 21, 2026Сommunity

In June, mothers supported by Soborna Ukraine Foundation took part in Conversations About Memory, a series of events organized in partnership with the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity.

The program combined conversations about memory with opportunities to explore the history of Kyiv and the events of the Revolution of Dignity. During the first meeting, participants visited the museum and its memorial spaces, watched a short documentary about the Revolution of Dignity, and then joined a workshop based on the Freedom Notebook by Ukrainian artist Alevtina Kakhidze. This creative activity gave participants the opportunity to reflect on what they had learned and explore the theme of memory through art.

The following Saturday, the group joined a guided tour of St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery, where they learned more about the history of one of Kyiv’s most significant landmarks.

Programs like these create a space where collective history and personal memory come together. They help participants deepen their understanding of the events that shaped modern Ukraine while honoring the memory of their loved ones in the company of people who truly understand their experience.

We sincerely thank the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity for its partnership, openness, and for making these meaningful gatherings possible for the families of fallen Ukrainian defenders supported by Soborna Ukraine Foundation.
