Soborna Ukraine Foundation Launches Neuropsychological Groups for Mothers, Grandmothers, and Children
After prolonged stress, people need more than rest. It also needs time to recover gradually. That is why Soborna Ukraine Foundation has launched a series of online neuropsychological support groups for mothers and grandmothers, which they can attend together with their children.

Unlike traditional support groups, neuropsychological sessions are primarily practice-based. Participants engage in specially designed exercises that involve both the brain and the body, helping them gradually restore their restore their emotional resources and strengthen their resilience.
Why is this important?
Prolonged stress affects not only a person's emotional well-being but also the way the brain functions. It can impact concentration, memory, learning, decision-making, and the ability to recover. At the same time, these responses are a natural reaction to difficult and traumatic experiences.
The brain has the capacity to recover. Regular exercises help create new neural connections, gradually restoring mental clarity, improving concentration, and strengthening resilience.
Recovering Together: Children and Caregivers
Participating in these groups together with children is an important part of the recovery process. Shared sessions help children regain a sense of safety through connection with a trusted adult, while enabling mothers and grandmothers to better understand their children's needs, recognize their emotions, and become a stronger source of stability for their children.
The program will continue with more sessions and practical exercises, helping families gradually rebuild their resilience and restore a sense of stability
